Good morning and happiest of Wednesdays to you! I hope you’re ready for an abundance of pictures because this last week was one of the busiest weeks I have had in a while.
Last Wednesday for breakfast I enjoyed a ‘Choconut Smoothie’ from the local juice shop in town. It was fantastic and tasted just like chocolate pudding!
Unfortunately, around noon I immediately got super sick. I could barely stand up unless it was to walk (run!) to the bathroom (tmi?) so I texted my boss who is WONDERFUL and graciously called in backup so I could go home and rest. I spent the rest of Wednesday parked on the couch watching Sex and The City and trying not to puke. I ended the night with a relaxing bath using my lavender bath bombs from Young Living.
Also, have you read “You are a Badass: How to Stop Doubting Your Greatness and Start Living an Awesome Life?” I know I am a little late at jumping on this bandwagon but I am OBSESSED with this book. I just want to read it again and again. This book has inspired me to cut out all the negativity in my life including people who are toxic. I just want to live my BEST life and be happy with who I am. Surround yourself with people who make you feel AMAZING. Ok? Ok.
Thursday morning I woke up a new woman and made myself a GIANT smoothie with spirulina, spinach, blueberries, ice, cashew milk, and a little protein powder. I had to replenish my nutrients! I honestly think I got sick from this new medication I was taking so I immediately cut that medicine out and threw it away.
I spent most the morning at work and then headed home to put together a recipe and work on some internship videos that were due.
Dinner: My sweet potato fries and guacamole (Recipe HERE!) alongside watermelon and a few all natural gluten-free chicken nuggets.
Friday morning started with a workout and another spirulina smoothie! (Spinach, spirulina, ice, frozen banana, cashew milk, BLEND!)

I also had 1 egg + 1 egg white scrambled to help keep me full since I didn’t add protein powder to this smoothie.
After working all day I came home to paint my toes before Danica’s graduation ceremony.
SO PROUD OF THIS CHICK! She is officially a high school grad and she is so bright and beautiful!
We ended the night with dinner and I split some ice cream with my mom from Sweet Charlies! Such AMAZING ice cream. Definitely worth the wait.

Saturday morning started with…you guessed it! A HUGE Spirulina shake! This one included: spirulina, spinach, vanilla protein powder, cashew milk, and ice!
I had to work the Farmer’s Market most of the day and my sweetest friend brought me a letter to read from this book. It definitely spoke to me at this stage I am at in life. Thank you Debbie! <3

When I got home I threw on a dress, put some tinted moisturizer on my face, and waited for Danica’s graduation party to start. She is so glamorous! Meanwhile I don’t know how to properly apply eyeliner.

My mom made a delicious Mediterranean-inspired feast.

After celebrating Danica with a few friends and family, we headed to another graduation party for a family friend. We didn’t get home until around 11:30 and I was exhausted!
Sunday morning Owen and I were up bright and early to meet Shelby and her dog Wellington for a quick walk.

After going home and getting ready for church my mom, sister, and I headed to Panera for breakfast before church. My favorite breakfast sandwich is the bacon, egg, cheese, on ciabatta. I think I eat this sandwich once a week…for real.
After church and a Parish meeting, I came home to relax for a 30 minutes before heading out into town again. I had a snack-lunch plate with leftovers from Danica’s grad party.

I spent the rest of the evening cooking and hanging out with the new family I am going to be am au pair (basically a live-in nanny) for. I am so excited to start this job officially in August!
I ended the night with popcorn, M&M’s, a turmeric latte, and Queen of The South with my parents. I fell asleep immediately, haha! I was so tired!

Monday morning started off strong with a workout and my new favorite drink for breakfast!

So Saturday was my dad’s birthday and Monday was my moms. They are 2 day apart and born the same year! We didn’t get to celebrate my dad much with all the graduation festivities but there was a wonderful cake on Monday at work for my cutest parents. Happy Birthday you two! You are both incredibly wonderful and a perfect example of what it means to have a Christ-centered marriage!

I came home from work and got started on the birthday meal! I also enjoyed this sparkling water while also wishing it contained alcohol. It was a stressful Monday!
Birthday dinner: Grass-fed steak, caesar salad, watermelon, roasted potatoes, roasted mushrooms & tomatoes, and crusty bread dipped in olive oil.
DELICIOUS!

Tuesday morning began with a dog walk followed by rushing to get ready for work. I spent most of the morning at one job and then booked it to the grocery store to pick up dinner supplies for my other job. While I cooked dinner I enjoyed an iced coffee and a bowl of cheerios because after a long day, I was craving cereal.
I also spent a few minutes outside with my favorite guy. When I start to feel a little rattled with everything going on in my life, it’s nice to just enjoy some quality time with my pup. He immediately cheers me up!

I headed over to my nanny job alongside the dinner I made! Lemony quinoa topped with kale, broccoli, and zucchini. I also made a lemon, garlic, olive oil, and tahini dressing to go overtop of it. This meal was crazy good! In my humble opinion, hah!

I came home super tired and ready for relaxing. I watched a few episodes of Queen of The South and read my book before bed.
This morning was another workout followed by my spirulina shake. Can you tell I like routine? Also, random, I found a gray hair on my head this morning. I am keeping it because I am tired of people asking me if I am either a) excited to start HIGH SCHOOL in the fall or b) if my younger sister is older than me.
I hope you all have a wonderful week! <3
