Hello, hello pretty people! It’s been a while since we last caught up 🙂 Work finally slowed down for a little bit so I am enjoying the evenings where I get to home early! I am snuggled up with Owen, watching Park and Rec for the millionth time, and ready to write!
Here’s a very sweaty picture of me…haha! But, I was super happy because I got those endorphins and ate a big salad for dinner!
Work was pretty stressful at one point last week but I am VERY thankful for my co-workers. It’s tough being in a supervisor role and I can let it get the best of me sometimes. It is moments like these, when people go out of their way to show you kindness, that I am so thankful for the role I am in! I had one person bring me a sweet gift and another friend bring me BREAKFAST! 🙂
Anywho, I started drinking the1st Phorm Opti-Greens during the day and I love it so far! I am trying to replace my 3:00 cup of coffee with something a little better for me. This gives me the quick energy I need. I will say, it’s an acquired taste. My poor friend Leon almost gagged when I made him try it…hahaha. I, however, love that bitter taste and always slurp it down!
One Saturday morning my friend Leon and I ran the stadium on campus, Then I headed to my parents to eat the leftover brunch spread my mom had prepared for a family meeting. It was DELICIOUS. She made waffles, homemade whipped cream, and a sausage/potato egg casserole.
I spent the rest of the day with my family, followed by buffalo chicken pizza and a card game.
One day at work I wore this skirt I got at Goodwill for $4. It’s the little things in life that bring me JOY 🙂
I worked all day and then worked out that night! I always feel much better when I get that endorphin rush.
I headed to stay with my family this past weekend since I had not seen them all week. I made nachos for everyone and margaritas. My kind of night!! The weather was perfect so we sat outside for a few hours!
I spent all day Saturday shopping for a car! I had sold mine the pervious weekend. I finally found one I loved and picked it up on today!! I highly recommend working with Nelson Mazda in Franklin, TN if you get a chance!
Sunday morning I woke up and made a breakfast taco while working on some blogging things. This little taco was so tasty! Bacon, egg, and cheese…you can’t go wrong.
I also went to get my nails done! I am hoping that keeping them painted will prevent me from picking them when I am anxious.
After I got my nails done I spent the afternoon working. I also had some guacamole, sweet potatoes, and chicken for lunch. I seasoned the chicken with salt, pepper, and Frank’s Hot Sauce – so easy and tasty!
After working for a little bit, I headed home to get ready for a cookout. My friend Leon picked me up and we spent the rest of the evening enjoying good food and company. I couldn’t resist capturing these sweet pictures of Owen. He melts my heart!
I hope you have a wonderful week! Thanks for stopping by the blog today!! I THINK YOU ARE REALLY GRAND!
