Hello, hello! I am writing to you tonight from our NEW home! We are all moved in and could not be happier. I am currently eating my favorite easy dinner (tortilla pizza!) while watching The Office – life is G O O D! Lettuce catch up on this past week, ok? Ok!

We closed on our house a few weeks ago but officially moved in and had our first night in the new place together last Wednesday. While preparing to move out of my parents house, I spent A LOT of time with them. It has been an incredibly bittersweet time leaving my parents house and moving in with the man I plan to marry one day. I am going to write a separate blog post about that because no one ever really seems to talk about how hard this season of life can be when you are super close to your parents. I obviously could not wait to move in with Leon but I also was feeling so sad to leave my parent’s house!

Any who, I will save all of that for a separate blog post! On a side note, how cute is Owen?!?!

He is the bestest little thing 🙂

When we were moving in I spent a lot of time making trips to the Home Depot!

It also made me so happy to have Owen and Leon’s dogs (Rhett and Finn) stay at the new place! They all used to hang out in a 700 sq. ft. apartment so to see them running around a HOUSE brought tears to my eyes. They have so much more room now! I can’t wait until we get a fence up and they can run around outside.

One of my favorite snacks lately is yogurt and my homemade granola! So simple and delicious!! Do you see that porch swing?! Leon and I sipped our coffee each morning on that porch swing and it was glorious!!

One day at work we had to put together a picnic for our Coalition – I LOVE hanging out with my boss. She is the best!!

Friday was all about preparing for Leon’s family to come into town to spend the weekend with us! I biked over to the gym for a quick workout and then headed home to get ready for his family to arrive.

Saturday morning we went to Habegger’s Amish Market and I FINALLY found a hat that fits my head and thick hair. It has been a struggle my whole life so I was so happy to find this cute hat 🙂 The rest of Saturday was spent running errands with my mom and then hanging out with Leon’s family!!

Sunday was Father’s Day!! I love celebrating my dad. I was actually super emotional at the dinner table when I asked everyone what their favorite thing about our dad was – he is just literally the BEST dad anyone could ever ask for. I am so blessed. I also have the best mom!! She made homemade fried chicken, scallop potatoes, green beans, and a dulce de leche apple pie!!

Everything was incredibly delicious!! I feel so grateful for my wonderful family 🙂
And then I spent today at work!! I have been loving these La Croix’s lately. I hope you all are enjoying your week! I will be back for more recaps soon – life has just been so busy lately, in the best way possible. Talk to you soon!!!

I have so missed you and your blog!!! Oh and Owen, of course!! Congrats on the new home <3 Thank you for the wonderful update!!
You are SO KIND!!!!! Thank you for reading!!! I have enjoyed catching up on your blog as well 😋
