Hello, hello, helloooooo. It’s me. Did you miss me? Probably not but I really missed you. It’s been a while since I wrote a blog post – what’s new? I have been going crazy with Cafe things. The exhaustion of it all has finally set in but I don’t mind because I have the BEST job in the whole world. I am very thankful for this season of life God has blessed me with.

Last week I got to try out a cocktail at my FAVORITE restaurant where they used my Glow Getter juice as the base of the cocktail. It was SO GOOD! I am not a huge liquor person but I LOVED this cocktail. It was so light and sparkling!

One of my favorite parts of the day is turning on the lights at the cafe when I am there in the mornings by myself. It is truly so peaceful! It has really set in yet that my dream is now my reality. Am I exhausted, yet. But anyone could still pinch me and I would think I was still dreaming!

Creating beautiful and tasty foods is one of my favorite things to do! A few Saturdays ago I made these delicious peanut butter toasts for my parents to enjoy!

Last Friday night I made my husband and I nachos to celebrate officially being open for 1 whole week! These nachos were so tasty and even tastier washed down with a beer! We don’t drink much and get a chuckle when we go to the fridge and still have 4 beers remaining in our 6-pack we bought last week. It will take us forever to get through those beers!

This is my “I am so grateful I have been open 1 week” face 🙂 Seriously, so grateful. I can’t say that enough!

I am working on figuring out my hours at the cafe. I had the sweetest little visitor too on Monday morning 🙂

I FINALLY got my Instagram back after weeks without it. Not too big of a deal, but when you are trying to open a business, it’s kind of stressful. Luckily I got back into the cafe’s account and I was feeling pretty joyful about it! I hadn’t been able to see anything people were tagging the cafe in and it crushed me! Now, I can see everything and it makes me happy!

For some reason, I think I need to get to the cafe at the crack of dawn everyday. Even when there is nothing to do I feel like I need to be there! I started doing my devotional in the quiet of the morning and it has been a great way to set the tone for the day. I may be bias, but I think the cafe is the PERFECT place to do a devotional or Bible study.

Just another picture of beautiful food 🙂 I can’t get enough of it!!!!

My dad sent me with picture and I was DYING LAUGHING! I was a hoss of a child but like super cute ya know?

More devotional time on Saturday morning 🙂 I am so glad I set aside time to do this devotional yesterday morning because our Saturday ended up being CRAZY busy at the cafe. I am still learning to handle stress so the lunch rush was hard for me!

Random but awesome. We are the first food establishment in Bowling Green to be composting! We compost with Compost of Bowling Green and it truly makes my heart so thrilled!

I don’t cook anymore… my poor husband. We have resorted to eating big plates of snacks! LOL. I am really going to work on meal planning for the week in order to make sure we have a healthy meal each night. I get to eat at the cafe all day but my husband doesn’t have the luxury. I feel so terrible sending him to work with nothing to eat but a PB&J so I am really going to work on some crockpot meals and easy meals we can eat this week.

That’s all I have for this short little recap! It’s time to get ready for church! Thanks for stopping by the blog today!! And if you have visited the cafe – THANK YOU! From the bottom of my heart, thank you. You have no idea just how grateful I am.
