I think I need to first start off by saying, I feel so undeserving of the love that I received from my bridal shower this past week. I was BEYOND spoiled. I seriously sat in disbelief the rest of the weekend asking Leon… what did we do to deserve this kind of love? Leon and I are keeping our wedding very, very small. Family only! So when my friends decided to throw me a bridal shower, I felt like I didn’t deserve it. Many of the ladies invited were from the church I grew up in and as much as it broke my heart, they wouldn’t be at our wedding. Many of them hadn’t even met Leon – thank you very much C0ViD pandemic. I am not sure what I was so worried about because these ladies spoiled me beyond belief. I didn’t know what it was like to feel such an intense love from a group of women! I am someone who fancies herself few friends and whose favorite activity outside of the home is grocery shopping…alone. All this to say, thank you to my dear friends. Your love and kindness did NOT go unnoticed. You spoiled me beyond belief.

My sweetest friends: Katie, Tabitha, Denise, and Mary threw me this shower. Katie did an incredible job organizing, planning, getting everyone there, and making the most beautiful cheese boards! Tabitha knocked it out of the park with the centerpieces! I am going to reuse them for our wedding reception and in my cafe! Denise was beyond thoughtful with her sweet bridal shower favors: 5 Jordan almonds to signify health, wealth, happiness, fertility, and longevity. Sweet Mary was unable to attend in person, but helped to organize the entire event! Thank you also to Brayden for the amazing food catered, to Christina for making my favorite no-bake cookies, and to Shawna and Denise for providing Serbian cookies to represent my heritage.

I felt so beautiful getting dressed up for this event! I wore a sweater dress from Steel Mill in town and I knew I had to have it when the sales girl told me it was 50% off – I love a good deal! LOL.

A special thank you to my mother. Who made my favorite dessert – nut roll! And who made my grandmothers favorite desserts: date cookies for my dad’s mom and strawberry cool whip pie for my mom’s mom! I cried more than a few times when I saw those dished on the table!

A special thank you to Leon’s mom and sister (my almost mom and sister!!!!) for making the special trip down to celebrate with me too 🙂 I am so lucky to be marrying into such a kind and loving family!!!

I still can’t get over how beautiful the tables were!!

And how amazing were these cheese boards? Almost to pretty to eat…almost 😉

I was beyond grateful for all of my sweet friends who showed up and took time out of their day to celebrate with me!

Here are 3 out of 4 of my lovely hostesses 🙂 Denise, Tabitha, and Katie! You were so missed Mary!

Thank you to everyone who made my bridal shower so special!!!! I love you all <3
