My sweet friends! It’s been a while since we last caught up with each other 🙂 Things have been going, going, going over here on my end. To be honest, I have been getting a little (read: a lot) too caught up in everything around me that I have forgotten to take time to slow down and rest! I have definitely put my mental and physical health on the back burner these last few weeks. I am feeling slightly more like myself today so things are starting to look up! So lettuce get to it!

Guess what!! My baby child celebrated his birthday this past weekend! I CAN’T BELIEVE HE IS 4! Where does the time go? This little bear has been with me through so much! I love him dearly 🙂

Tis the season for all the oatmeal! I can’t seem to get enough oatmeal lately. I really need to make overnight oats because it would save me so much time in the mornings. I love how versatile oatmeal can be! I really can’t wait to make oatmeal for you when this cafe opens up.

I have been putting this Kitchen Aid to use these past few weeks! I love being able to have this mixer in my kitchen because it was my moms when her and my dad first got married! She keeps making jokes that it has lasted over 25 years for her but probably won’t take long for me to break it, haha! I have a bad track record with anything involving electricity…

But anyways! I snapped this picture of my coffee a few weeks ago and my phone focused in on a rainbow around me. I love little reminders of the Lord throughout my day!

I am not sure where I was going in this picture, but I guess I was excited about it!

Another random compilation of what I have been eating! Healthy eating doesn’t have to be hard or complicated 🙂 Have you had Siete avocado oil sea salt & vinegar chips? They are so addicting!

These pictures were from a few weeks ago but make me so happy! It’s basically all my favorite things put together!

I just got through those two books on the right and I am itching to order more books on Amazon. BUT – I also have several books I asked for this Christmas that I should probably wait for… By the way! The “Meaning of Marriage” is on my list of favorite books! It was SO GOOD! I need Leon to read it now so we can discuss it!

And I will end with this VERY RARE photo of my family and I taken at family’s business party this past weekend. I am so thankful for these lovely humans!! I hope you all have a great week and remember to take time for yourself! I am still learning this. I am working on giving myself grace and leaning more into REST and STILLNESS. Thank goodness we have a good and merciful Lord! Goodnight 🙂 Thanks for stopping by the blog today!

Happy birthday to sweet Owen!!! What a cutie. I always so enjoy your posts. I so agree about oatmeal- I cannot get enough! I saw you used fresh cranberries in yours- I have a bunch leftover from Thanksgiving and didn’t think about putting them in my oats, but I am trying that tomorrow!! Thanks for the idea 😊
Thank you for your sweet comment!!!! <3
