Hi, hey, hello! Thank goodness for these magnesium and adaptogen enhanced sparkling waters for helping me chill-the-heck-out during the day. Anxiety keeps finding its way to take over my mind lately so I have been doing all I can to make sure I am taking extra-special care of my mind and body and these drinks help! I’ve been spending extra time with Jesus too – since only He can truly help pull me out of these anxious thoughts. More on that later! Lettuce get into this recap. Overall, its been a wonderful week. Tomorrow is Leon’s birthday and we have been celebrating him most of the week 🙂 He is truly the BEST person ever!
You know what else is the best? Planning out your meals for the week. We are on week 3 of grocery shopping once a week and sticking to a loose meal plan. Last week we ate chicken sausage and roasted veggies a few nights in a row! I love topping this meal with Tessemae’s ranch!

I started reading “The Meaning of Marriage” last week too and I truly can’t get enough of this book. It is AWESOME! There are so many inspiring tid-bits and words of wisdom for marriage. I had an epiphany this past week and I realized I want to be married to Leon much sooner than our original date. Luckily, everything fell into place for our new wedding date and I feel so much more at east. God tends to always guide me in the right direction <3 His plans are always greater than my plans! Our wedding day is going to be so perfect for US. We are having a small intimate wedding, family only, and I truly cannot wait. I have never been someone who has dreamed up their perfect wedding – I have only dreamed up what it would be like to be married! I can’t wait to be Leon’s WIFE! I pray that I can be the wife he deserves! A simple wedding with my best friend seems like a pretty good way to start off our marriage together!! Since our wedding will be sooner, we will take our honeymoon later in the year!

Taking walks with the dogs around our beautiful little town in the fall also helped my anxiety! I mean – how lovely ?! I love the fall time – the weather, the warm clothes, the daylight savings time – all of it!

After my walk one night I made a protein waffle, eggs, and turkey sausage all doused in maple syrup! Sometimes breakfast for dinner is the only thing that sounds good! I ended up having a decaf cup of coffee too.
On Sunday we went to church, spend the afternoon reading on the couch, and then we headed to my parents house! My family though Leon a little party for his birthday! They made him steak and a baked potato bar! My mom also made him his favorite cake! She couldn’t find a “6” so she did a “2 x 3” LOL!! They also got him a few gifts! It was so sweet seeing my family spoil him. I love seeing how much they love him and how much he loves them! I think it is safe to say they are more than thrilled to welcome him into the family <3
Leon, it is so easy to celebrate you! You are incredibly kind, selfless, joyful, patient, and HANDSOMEEEE! I am so blessed to be able to call you my ALMOST husband! God blessed me with you! Thank you for everything you do!

Monday night I surprised Leon with cooking classes at Stuarto’s Olive Oil company. We had the BEST time!! We sipped on wine and helped cook an amazing meal!

My mind was hungrier than my tummy. I couldn’t finish this plate by any means but holy moly was it TASTY! Good quality olive oil, balsamic, and seasonings make such a difference in the food you cook! We both learned a lot about cooking!

Yesterday I had to take Owen to the vet – which is always exhausting – and always leaves me feeling like I am losing my mind. It’s a good thing I am beyond obsessed with him and would do anything for him.
I mean JUST LOOK AT HIM! He follows me all over the house and it makes me so happy. He is literally under my feet right now as I am typing! He keeps me company during all my at-home workouts too like below 🙂
After work this afternoon we took the boys on a walk! I truly can’t get enough of these fall days!! They make my heart so happy.

This guy makes my heart pretty happy too! I AM BLESSED IT TELL YOU. BLESSED! <3
This week we have been eating honey sesame chicken, garlic rice, and roasted broccoli for dinner! It has been filling and tasty! Yay for easy dinners!

That’s all I got tonight! I mostly wrote this blog post so I could stay awake later than 7:00 PM. LOL. I was ready for bed at 6 tonight so I had to force myself to do something productive. Thanks for stopping by the blog today! If you are struggling with anxiety at all – it’s cliche but truly GIVE IT TO GOD! It is like a weight off your shoulders. Try to do things that bring you joy too! You’ve got this, whatever season of life you are in – I am rooting for you! And so is our Lord! 🙂
