Happy Saturday! I am sipping coffee, watching The Mindy Project, and soaking in this beautiful day. I slept in until 8:00 AM today…I don’t even know who I am anymore! LOL. I almost never, ever sleep in. It was quite wonderful! It’s been a pretty wonderful week. I truly believe I am blessed beyond belief! Here’s a peek into my past week…
Last Friday evening we took the boys on a walk around the trails next to our house. It was the best! We had no idea these trails existed.
I was cracking up at that first picture of Owen! He is so over me taking pictures of him but I can’t help it! I love him so much!!! LOL.

Saturday morning my parents dropped by to pick up their lawn mower and bring us some breakfast sandwiches. I am so thankful for them! After they left we headed to Fox Hole in Smith’s Grove (where we ironically ran into my mom and sister, LOL) to pick up a few items for the house and snag a few house plants. Our house is really coming together and we are obsessed with it! It’s a unique combination of the both of us and I love it.

After a day full working on the house, we settled in for the night to finish watching Virgin River. We had salads and our favorite tortilla pizzas. For the pizzas I like to spray the bottom with olive oil and add garlic powder. Then for the top I add pizza sauce, turkey pepperonis, pineapple, cheese, and Italian seasoning. I like to bake it for around 15 minutes on 425. THEY ARE SO GOOD! We finished off the night with ice cream ๐
Sunday morning we went on a walk around town and then got ready to head to church! After church I made some coffee and granola for the week!

I was also pumped that my new books came in. I have been trying to spend more time reading the Bible and I wanted a book to help me understand what the heck is going on in the Bible rather than only reading versus that apply to my life…if that makes sense!

Sunday night we went over for Sunday Night dinner at my parents house! I love getting to see little Oslo ๐

I also made The Pioneer Woman’s blackberry Cobbler with blackberries from our blackberry bush. It was AMAZING. Definitely the best cobbler ever. My mom made homemade chicken Alfredo for dinner and it was incredible too!
You have to make her recipe if you have extra blackberries laying around!

Monday morning I had to be at work! But I was very pumped to wear my new pants…I felt like a walking picnic ๐

Tuesday night we cheered on the softball team that is made up of employees from my work and my parent’s work! It was so much fun! Plus, THEY WON!

Wednesday was my sister’s 21st birthday!! During the day I attended a Hot Rods baseball game for work and then in the evening we celebrated my sweet sister! My mom made my sister’s favorites…chicken pot pie, fries, and mashed potatoes! LOL. We then at chocolate chip cake and chocolate chip ice cream! I can’t believe my little sister is 21!

Thursday night before we headed to another softball game, Leon made us dinner after we worked out! It was a Hello Fresh meal and it was so tasty!

Friday morning for breakfast I had toast with peanut butter and strawberry jam!

Then I headed to an event at Need More Acres farm – it was so much fun! I met my mom for lunch in town and then I headed back home to work some more and then get in a sweaty workout.

Leon made us steaks for dinner and they were amazing! He is the best at making steaks! I also attempted a squash casserole with all of our yellow squash and that turned out amazing too! I ended the night with chocolate ice cream ๐

And now I am eating a yogurt parfait with my granola and local peaches! I can’t wait for tonight. We are going to Top Golf to celebrate my sister’s birthday! I hope you all have the best day ever!!! I am definitely feeling so blessed this week. I hope you are too ๐
