HIIIIII!!!!!! Can you feel my energy?!?! BECAUSE IT’S HIGH VIBE ENERGY. I am feeling much more energetic right now than I have in the last few weeks and I am LOVING it.
So, last week’s “monthly” recap (LOL) was so stinking long. You’re in luck…because I seem to have forgotten how to be a blogger and only took a few pictures this week. Which means, this recap will be very short.
Lettuce take this recap back to Monday morning. I spent some time with myself and Jesus before heading into work. I think I’m going to write a post on how I cope with anxiety because spending time in the morning in silence, journaling, has been a HUGE help.
Monday night we had family come into town from Florida so we spent some time with them. I made my homemade rolls and we enjoyed those with my mom’s Lebanese green beans.
Tuesday morning we all headed to the water park after my other family came into town. I kid you not…I started my period the SECOND we walked into the park. hahahaha Oh, mother nature, you have a very funny sense of humor. Needless to say, I didn’t last long at the water park before my sweetest brother took me home so I could shower, down some ibuprofen, and fall asleep on the couch. When I woke up my family was back from the park and from eating out and I realized I was pretty hungry.
I preheated the oven to 425, drizzled some salmon with olive oil, lemon, and salt & pepper before baking it for 15-20 mins. While the salmon was cooking I massaged some kale in the same thing I put on the salmon before topped it with leftover roasted vegetables. I drizzled everything with Organic Girl’s Green Herb Goddess dressing and sesame seeds.
Wednesday I was feeling much more like myself! I headed into work in the morning for a few hours before coming back home around 1 to make myself some lunch, a peanut butter & chocolate smoothie bowl!

I saved the best for last…they taste like a freakin milkshake
After my lunch digested a little, I had a burst of energy and decided to spend an hour working out.
I was exhausted after that! I ate sardines, roasted veggies, and an egg for dinner before showering off and watching Gilmore Girls with my mom and sister.
Even though I was exhausted, I couldn’t get to sleep so I decided to read for a little while.
Thursday was July 4th and I had no plans but to hang out with my family all day! It stormed most of the day so we mostly hung out inside. I think the most exciting thing I did was workout in my patriotic attire. A boring day of doing nothing but hanging out with family was EXACTLY what I needed. My brain felt refreshed.
I CAN’T HANDLE HIS CUTENESS!!!!!!
Friday morning I headed into work for a few hours before babysitting a little girl at my church. I had a quick lunch before taking her to swim practice: Safe Catch lemon pepper tuna, avocado, and tomatoes!
I spent some time reading while I waited for her swim practice to be over with!
For dinner that night I had July 4th leftovers in the form of a salad: lettuce, hamburger, pickles, tomatoes, onions, ketchup & mustard – plus, a cut up pretzel bun because I love carbs, ya know? I finished with a big bowl of watermelon.
A few hours later I had a scoop of ice cream and headed up to bed. I live a very exciting life guys, Friday night’s are just crazy for me 😉
I kid, I kid. I quite enjoy my grandma way of life. But you know this already.
