Happy Saturday! I am currently cuddled up on the couch with my blanket, a Christmas movie, a bowl of popcorn (w/ peanut M&Ms of course) and now I am ready to blog!
Instead of doing my usual weekly recap that follows a consecutive order, I thought I would just share a few things that I did or loved this week.
First things first…I have been obsessed with these OMEGAS!

Did you know to produce fish oil it takes 3-4 pounds of fish? 🐟 that means our oceans will be depleted of fish by the year 2050! 😶 did you also know there is little to NO research on fish oil supplements? There are tons of chemicals, PCBS, heavy metals, & toxins in the ocean making fish less & less healthy for our bodies. Toxins store in fat —> fat is found in oil —> then we eat the oil of the fish —> then we are ingesting toxins 😳 but there is GOOD NEWS… these little gems BYPASS the fish and go STRAIGHT for the algae (a combination of algal oil, pomegranate seed oil, raspberry seed oil, tomato seed oil, safflower seed oil, & sea buckthorn berry oil). They also contain omegas 3,5,6,7,9 & are 100% PLANT BASED!🌱cutting out the middle man (i.e. the 🐟) you are flooding your body with 100% omegas and 0% toxins, Mercury, chemicals…. need I say more?😍
Another thing I have been loving? Smoothies.

It may have been hovering around 35 degrees this past week but all I have been craving is pumpkin pie smoothies. This recipe truly does taste like creamy pumpkin pie!
Owen and I have also been spending a lot of quality time together since I have been gone so much. Lots of snuggles and dog walks.

I have been so obsessed with this weather too. It’s the type of weather where you can run anytime of the day!

Two things I am really loving this week? This MUG and this SWEATER! Shoutout to my mom for providing the only mug I will ever need and shoutout to Target to for supplying the sweater I will be living in all winter.

My roommate and I also decorated our house for Christmas and our house is so cozy right now I never want to leave. We wanted to get the decorating done before the business of finals kicked in and I am so glad we did.

I also whipped up a butternut squash/cauliflower/sweet potato mash to eat for dinners this week. <3

Friday night I went to Nashville with some friends and I couldn’t help but be amazed at the sky. God is so good.

I didn’t get home until around 1 this morning and immedeitly crawled into bed. When I woke up it was around 6:45 so I decided to get up and start my day. I did my quiet time, drank lots of coffee, and my to-do list for the day. I also decided to power clean the house before heading out to do some errands.

That’s all I got this week 🙂 I hope you have a wonderful rest of your weekend!
Aww sounds like you spent your Saturday in the most perfect way!!
