Chocolate Chip Cherry Chia Oatmeal…say that 5 times fast. I dare ya.
This recipe is simple, sweet, and will keep you going all morning long. Does anyone else get extremely giddy when it’s cherry season? It can’t be just me.
Here’s the thing, I would normally say “Oh, just add whatever toppings you want!” But, not this time. These ingredients go so well together and the chia seeds, peptia seeds, and almond butter are really key to making sure this oatmeal keeps you satiated.
MAKE THIS OATMEAL.
Chocolate Chip Cherry Chia Oatmeal (GF, Vegan)
- 1/2 C Gluten free quick oats (or regular)
- 1 C cashew milk
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- pinch of sea salt
- dash of vanilla extract
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 3-4 pitted cherries
- 1 T dark chocolate chips
- 1 T chia seeds
- 1 T almond butter
- 1 T pepita seeds
- drizzle of honey
Prepare oatmeal according to package on stovetop with cashew milk. Stir in maple syrup, sea salt, vanilla, and cinnamon. Once oatmeal is cooked through, top with remaining ingredients. Enjoy!
