I have a fun little recipe for you today! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Saturday was nothing but grey skies and downpours of rain but Sunday turned out to be nothing but blue skies and sunshine.
Since Cinco de Mayo was Saturday, my friend Hannah convinced me to make margaritas for the blog! After we finished these, we headed to a local Mexican restaurant with her sister who was in town visiting to drink more margaritas and eat all the chips, salsa, and guac. I don’t drink, like ever, so I was exceptionally chatty after finishing off all these margaritas. Luckily I chugged water when I got home so that I didn’t wake up feeling sick or have a headache.
I hope you make these and enjoy!
Frozen Mango Margaritas (Serves 3)
- 2 C frozen mango chunks
- 2 C ice
- 3 oz. tequila (I used Cabo Wabo)
- 1.5 oz. triple sec
- 1 T honey (or agave)
- juice of 2 limes
Throw all the ingredients in a blender and blend on high until slushy-like!
p.s. drink responsibly!
