Happy Wednesday friends!
I apologize that this recap will be short and sweet but things have been a little crazy over here. I went to KC over the weekend and have been going full force since I got back. I had such a wonderful time learning more about the Young Living business but more importantly, getting to connect with some of the AMAZING women within this community. Such kind and gracious souls. I cried 95% of the time. Such a beautiful and inspiring weekend. Thank you Jami for hosting us all!
If you want to read a WONDERFUL blog post about the weekend, check out my sweet friend Hannah at Kerrageously Made because she wrote up a beautiful post.
Monday morning I woke up and headed out for a 3 mile run because the weather was absolutely gorgeous.
I spent most of the day at work and catching up on homework. Also, THANK YOU to everyone who reached out to me over my eating disorder post that day. This week is National Eating Disorder Awareness Week and it holds such an important place in my heart. If you know or suspect someone may be struggling with an eating disorder, please look up ways to help them or connect them to someone who can. It is such a touchy subject and often goes unnoticed. PLEASE SPREAD SOME LOVE.
Here is my post on my eating disorder journey: I YAM WHAT I YAM!
Tuesday began with 6 miles on the bike + an arm workout. I had back-to-back classes that day but luckily the weather was amazing again. I even walked to Spencer’s for an iced almond milk latte on my way to my night class.
Wednesday morning started out with a killer spin class followed by a quick+easy breakfast. A sprouted english muffin with almond butter, 1/2 an apple, and 1 egg + 2 egg whites. (plus, lots of coffee because COFFEE <3 )
I have got something exciting to share with you all! This Sunday (March 4th, 2018) I will be taking over the Draw Near Designs Instagram account to walk all you Orthodox Christians through some of my favorite Lenten recipes.
For those of you who are not Orthodox…that is OK! I will be posting the recipes I make on my blog this Saturday + Sunday so watch out for those! They are SUPER DELICIOUS! Plus, I am finally sharing my beloved cashew cookie ball recipe that I made for The Little Pink Book gathering last semester.
I’ve got some other exciting things coming up, but why tell you all in one post 🙂
I hope you all have a great day! Hopefully I will have a longer recap next week.
