Good morning beautiful!
How was your weekend? Mine was WONDERFUL. I got to spend 95% of it with my love, Barrett so that is always enjoyable.
I have got A LOT on my plate this evening with school and some projects coming up so I am going to keep this weekend recap short with 5 highlights from the weekend.
1. leftover salad for lunch
I made a delicious dinner salad for my family on Thursday night and I enjoyed the leftovers for lunch on Friday afternoon. I think I will post the recipe this week because it was TASTY and EASY!
2. slow Saturday mornings
There are few things I love more than Saturday mornings, filling breakfasts, and COFFEE. I woke up around 7 Saturday morning and sipped on coffee while talking to my mom. We went on a short walk and then I made breakfast when we got back. Eggs, spinach, sausage, cheese, and buttered sourdough toast!
3. Days spent with Barrett
Barrett and I spent most of Saturday hunting down a winter coat for me, drinking coffee, and finding Christmas presents for our families. I already miss this sweet face! I know Nashville is only an hour away but only seeing him Friday night and all Saturday is just not enough! I miss him so much.
4. Croissants and coffee with my mom
After church on Sunday, my mom and I went to Corner Bakery to pick up some breakfast! We split a croissant, some eggs, and at a little bit of a pumpkin muffin. I highly recommend Corner Bakery if you are in the mood for a sweet treat! I will treasure sipping on coffee, splitting desserts, and long talks with my mom for FOREVER.
5. popcorn snack packs
My mom picked up these popcorn snack packs at CVS for mega cheap. I have been snacking on them ever since! I added a handful of roasted almonds and dark chocolate chips to this pack and it was very filling and tasty!
That’s it. That’s all I got for you today! I hope you took the time to do something for yourself and also spend time with the ones you love this weekend!
