Fall is finally here and I could not be more thrilled.
I apologize for slacking on the blog lately. There are a lot of backend things I have been trying to figure out and it always leaves me stumped and frustrated…so if anyone knows of someone who is good at HTML codes, SEO, or anything website related PLEASE LET ME KNOW. I get so frustrated trying to figure things out that I end up not putting any content on here because I am so tired of looking at my computer screen.
…now that I have let out my frustrations (Hah!) lettuce talk about Fall! This is my absolute favorite time of the year. I love when the leaves change and the weather gets crisp. My thoughts have already bypassed Halloween and are daydreaming about Thanksgiving.
I am also daydreaming about Winter Break. I am so ready for a break from school. This semester has been a little stressful because I have been trying hard to figure out who the hell I am supposed to be and what I am supposed to do with the rest of my life. Don’t worry, I realized I can’t just figure it out…I need to pray about it constantly!
…back to Fall! I thought I would share with you some of my favorite things that are making me smile during my favorite season.
Hot Drinks
The cooler weather makes me want to sip on everything hot from coffee to tea to turmeric lattes to matcha lattes.
Long Walks in the Evening
There is nothing better than taking a long walk in the evening when you get home from work. The weather is absolutely perfect for it! My mom, sister, and I have been going on a walk almost everyday when we all get home. I even got to take a long walk around East Nashville with Barrett on Tuesday. I love taking walks because it is so nice to just look at the world around you instead of staring at a phone/tv/computer screen.
Fall Foods
I wanted to post a picture of the chili and cornbread I ate but honestly, it was not cute AT ALL. Hah! But, I have been loving crisp apples in my salads and ANYTHING and EVERYTHING pumpkin spice related. I just ordered a whole box of these pumpkin spice RX bars on Amazon because they are heavenly.
Reading with the Windows Open
We turned off our AC and are holding off on turning on the heat until we absolutely have to. I have been cracking the window to my room and snuggling up with a blanket while I enjoy going through the stack of books on my nightstand. A few of my favorite books I have been reading:
That’s all I have so far. I hope you are taking the time to enjoy the colder weather too! Have a wonderful weekend! I will try to be back here Monday with something for you to read <3
