Good morning! In case you missed it, here is the first part of my recap post! HERE
I ended things on Friday night in my last post, so lets pick up with Saturday morning. The weather was beautiful so after I drank some coffee I laced up and headed for a run!
After my run, I had more coffee, some breakfast, and made sure the kids were alright.
2 eggs, some kale, and a peanut butter chocolate chip perfect bar!
Around 1, I had some more kale and chicken and a Reishi chocolate drink from Rebbl.
The kids and I also spent some time hanging out with their grandmother. We watched the Kardashians and it was so cute how much Nina knew about them! And I thought I knew everything about their lives! Hah! Then I had to take Lydia to a birthday party. While Lydia was at her birthday party, I walked around Target and TJ Maxx to kill some time. Before I went to pick her up, I stopped at Starbucks for a peanut butter packet and a toasted coconut cold brew.
After picking up Lydia, we went back home for a while for her and Trent to get ready for me to take them to Chick-fil-a and a parents night out at their gymnastics place.
While they were at parents night out, I took myself on a date to Whole Foods. I also ran into one of my friends from high school (Hi Natalie!!!!!! <3) I ended up only eating the pork and saving the bread for later because my stomach started hurting. Luckily the kombucha helped a little.
I walked around Anthropologie, Nordstrom rack, and World Market. So my goal was not to spend any money but I had to get a couple of things because they were calling out to me, ya know? The good news, they were on sale! So really its like I spent no money at all.
I was still feeling a little sick and I was getting super tired so I went to pick the kids back up. When we got back home we made some signs for their parents return. I also picked up some flowers to leave them.
I went to bed exhausted! The next morning I woke up and made some coffee. I also made this waffle with 2 eggs, a banana, and 2 T of coconut flour. I topped it with blueberries and a little maple syrup.
I also spent some time with dogs and watched Friends while I waited for my older cousin to wake up so I could leave. Once he woke up, I hit the road back to Bowling Green!
Once I made it back home, I immediately laid down on the couch. I was super tired!
When my family came home from church, I hung out with them for a little while before I went to do some errands with my sister. We stopped at Starbucks for unsweetened peach green teas! I think this is my new favorite.
Then I spent the rest of the evening eating cauliflower crust pizza and watched Shooter and Suits with Barrett and my parents. It was a perfect way to end the weekend!
Thanks for reading along. I will see you here tomorrow for Friday favorites!
