Happy last day of 2016!
I’ve been a little MIA lately since my laptop is still broken and I don’t want to bombard my mom’s laptop by downloading all my pictures.
Anyways, 2016 was the best year yet!
2016 was a big year for me. I changed my major back to my true passion of nutrition, I started my blog, I got a job that will help me when I apply for internships, I got an A in chemistry (a big deal for me!), I found a mentor, and I celebrated 2 years with my favorite guy!
I learned more about myself in 2016 than I thought was possible. I discovered my love for Crossfit and that I didn’t enjoy running all that much. I discovered that I am passionate about women realizing they are enough just the way they are and that they don’t need to lose weight or anything. 2016 made me realize that I can’t wait to grow up and talk about nutrition, but it also made me realize that I need to slow down and enjoy every moment I am in.
2016 also had its downfalls, like every year I suppose. I didn’t get a good grade in Anatomy, I questioned my major and my self-worth, Barrett and I almost broke up, and I discovered I can still be insanely immature (see previous post on Christmas haha!)
I am looking forward to 2017 and all that it has to offer! I decided not to make any resolutions this year but to simply enjoy all that life throws my way.
