Hi! So my computer has decided it hates me and has been acting really weird which is why I have not been on the blog in a while! Apologies.
Anyways, my mom is graciously letting me use her computer to type this up. Bless her.
Since I have not been posting much food lately, I thought I would include a lot of what I ate last week + some highlights from my weekend. This post may be a little scatterbrained so just bear with me!
Breakfast has been waffles with pumpkin butter and pancakes with pumpkin butter and cinnamon apples.
Lots and lots of eggs have been eaten.
Dinner has been lots of veggies and a meat source.
Okay, here is the best part: my weekend! Barrett and I celebrated his 23rd birthday all weekend long and it was THE BEST.
On Friday he drove up from Nashville and, after suffering a mild heart attack/stroke because he did not arrive until 8:30 when he was supposed to be there at 6, I had a dinner waiting for him.
Cheese, crackers, pears, salad, and pizza for the win!
We then stayed up talking and catching up on life since I hadn’t seen him all week.
We also took my dad’s convertible for a drive around Bowling Green.
P.S. You should go to Starbucks eight minutes before they close because most likely they have already counted the cash box and will give you your drinks for free š
Saturday we woke up and Barrett made eggs and I re-heated some pancakes.
Unfortunately most of the day was spent at the AT&T store but that’s okay since it is conveniently located next to Panera…
Turkey chiliĀ + caesarĀ kale salad.
We spent the rest of the afternoon running errands, laughing a lot, catching up with my family when they returned from the beach, and eating sushi with Barrett’s brother and parents. It was such a great Saturday!
Sunday I went to church and ate some of my mom’s homemade vegetable soup for dinner.
Also, how amazing is this weather? Ā I love it.
Alright. That’s all. Sorry this was so short but I have to get back to studying…
(but really just staring at my notecards blankly)
