Life Update + Food

Good morning! How are you?


I should have posted a weekend recap yesterday but I just wasn’t feeling it so today I am just going to ramble on and include some pictures about food, OK? Ok.

Do you remember when I mentioned I went to get a mole removed and they said it had a lot of melanoma in it? Well, I went back to the dermatologist yesterday and everything is a-okay. Turns out, I just heard them wrong and freaked out about nothing.

Story of my life.

Paleo Pancakes: 2 eggs, 1 banana, 1 TBSP coconut flour, lots of cinnamon, 1 tsp vanilla extract. Topped with AB and blueberries.

So anyways, my life is changing a lot lately! I quit my job at WKU and as much as I hate to leave all the lovely people there, I think my new job as a Dietary Aide will be a lot more beneficial towards my path to being a Dietician. I am really excited about this! I feel like things are really starting to “FALL” into place for me.

Speaking of Fall, how great is this weather? I walked outside this morning and it was crisp, cold, and perfect. My favorite season is here! Now if only Thanksgiving could hurry up and get here.


I am also feeling really, really good about Crossfit. We did the Crossfit Total yesterday which is finding your 1 rep max for back squat, shoulder press, and deadlift. I saw some major improvements from when I first started back at Crossfit back in June. It’s amazing to me what our bodies are capable of.

Oh! I am also loving this guacamole NOAH MADE. This was a big deal considering his “cooking” is limited to heating up ramen noodles and opening a package of Poptarts.

We were all really proud.
